Amador Homecoming Game vs. Monte Vista

Pre-Game Tailgate Party / 4:30 - 6:30 PM
 The
first event of Reunion Weekend is the Tailgate Party and Homecoming Game vs Monte Vista on
the Amador Campus on Friday Night. A "family" event, this will be a great way to
begin the weekend's festivities; first in the parking lot feasting on traditional tailgate
faire, and then packing back into the "friendly confines" of Amador Stadium,
cheering the Purple and Gold on to victory.
The "tailgater" is replacing the previously planned after-game pizza
festivities because of the need for those attending to arrive early to insure getting a
seat. There will be a section of seats reserved, but we don't know how many we'll be able
to hold on to or for how long. Given the customary early arrival and packed-to-the-rafters
attendance at Homecoming, everyone is encouraged to arrive early.
So, rather than sit in the stands for hours eating stadium hot dogs while your butt
falls asleep, you can now hit the Class' Tailgater with your family and join your former
classmates with their families and Reunion guests for sub sandwiches and salads before we
all head into the game.
To help defray the cost to Class Members and their Families and Guests, the Class
Reunion will be partially underwriting this event. The cost for the pre-game festivities
will be $2.00 per person and will provide your fill of the delicious tailgate goodies
which will include:
* World Famous "Mile-long" Sandwiches from
TOGO's
* Assorted dishes / casseroles
* Assorted Delicatessen Salads
* Chips and Dips and other "traditional tailgate faire"
* Soda Pop and/or hot chocolate (weather permitting)

Please send an e-mail to tailgate@amador78.org to let us know how
many friends and family members you'll be bringing to the Party and the Game, so we can
make sure there's plenty of food and drink for everyone.
Then mark your calendars, dust off your folding chairs and seat cushions and dig
out your game attire...it's HOMECOMING at Amador High for Reunion Weekend!
